Reign collects only the financial data you choose to enter:
Your data is associated with an anonymous device identifier — a hashed UUID generated per app install. This identifier resets if you reinstall the app. We do not collect your name, email address, password, or any other personally identifiable information.
Your financial data is stored on secure encrypted servers associated with your anonymous device identifier. No personally identifiable information is collected or stored. We cannot identify you as an individual from the data we hold.
We do not share, sell, or provide your data to any third parties. Ever.
Sentry is used for error monitoring. No financial data is included in error reports — only anonymous technical crash information.
PostHog is used for anonymous usage analytics to help us improve the app. No financial data is included in analytics events.
You can delete all your data instantly from within the app at any time. One tap permanently and immediately removes all your financial data from our servers. This action is irreversible. You may also request deletion by emailing support@reign.money.
Your data persists as long as your device identifier remains active. Because the identifier resets on reinstall, uninstalling the app without first deleting your data will result in that data becoming inaccessible. Use the in-app delete option before uninstalling if you want your data permanently removed.
A future update will introduce optional Sign in with Apple for cross-device backup and sync. This will remain entirely optional. The core budgeting experience will always be available without an account.
Reign is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data through our app, please contact us at support@reign.money.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this policy.
